  • Lois Kramer

    Clinical Director

    Lois@hctherapy.com

Lois has always loved working with children because their creativity, honesty and energy make everyday new and rewarding. The stories of the children and families she works with always inspire and humble her and she enjoys discovering how important it is to appreciate the small and big successes.

Lois’ background includes mental health {preschool for emotionally and physically abused children} and pediatric outpatient occupational therapy in a hospital setting. She is certified in administering and interpreting the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and the Integrated Learning System (ILS).

Lois enjoys working holistically and collaboratively with other professionals, including speech and language pathologists, educational consultants, counselors and behavioral therapists.

  • Tennille Gammelgaard, COTA/L

    Occupational Therapy Assistant

    Tennille@hctherapy.com

Tennille joined us as an intern while in the COTA program at Greenriver community college.  We were delighted that she joined our therapy team.  She taps into her experience as a nanny, preschool teacher and mom to two wonderfully neurodivergent children.

Raising her family in Federal Way keeps Tennille busy outside of the clinic.  She loves acting, attending theatre, drawing and painting, and being out in nature.

She has experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, behavioral challenges, and other developmental needs in both school and community settings. Her approach is playful, strengths-based, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.
